What is MiniRoos Kick-Off?

MiniRoos Kick-Off is an introductory program designed for beginning and developing players who are new to the game (aged 4-8 years old). The nation-wide initiative uses short, game-based sessions to introduce the sport of football to newcomers in an inclusive way. It focuses on learning new skills, being active, making life-long friends and, potentially, unearthing the next generation of Socceroos or Matildas. You can sign up with your friend or alone, no equipment needed.

What to Expect:

• Qualified coaches who will facilitate modified games and activities to spark the love of football!
• MiniRoos Kick-Off programs typically run for 4-8 weeks for 45 minutes per session.
• New participants receive a participant pack from Football Australia as part of their registration fee.
• All registered participants receive personal accident insurance as part of their registration fee.

This fun, social and engaging program provides an alternate option for girls aged 4-8 who may not want to participate in a mixed-gender program, as well as the opportunity to choose their football experience. The nation-wide initiative uses short, game-based sessions to introduce the sport of football to newcomers in an inclusive way. It focuses on learning new skills, being active, making life-long friends and, potentially, unearthing the next generation of Socceroos or Matildas.
